Basketball Game Preview: Horicon Marshmen vs. Oakfield Oaks

Horicon is 2-8 against Oakfield since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. Horicon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Horicon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Valley Christian 64-42 on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Marshmen with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Oakfield beat Wayland Academy 72-67 on Monday.

Oakfield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Horicon, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Horicon suffered a grim 55-34 defeat to Oakfield when the teams last played back in February. Can Horicon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
