Baseball Recap: Boyne City Comes Up Short

Boyne City fell victim to Traverse City Central and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 9-0. The Ramblers just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Boyne City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Traverse City Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyne City will square off against Charlevoix at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Traverse City Central, they will face off against Forest Hills Northern at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
