Douglass extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Anaiya Morrison. The Douglass Eagles took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 85-29 win over the Surrattsville Hornets thanks to Morrison, who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a triple-double with 22 points, 11 assists, and ten steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Khloe Thomas was another key player, going 9-for-17 on her way to 23 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Her morning made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points.

Douglass' victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Surrattsville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Coincidentally, Douglass and Surrattsville will both be playing Gwynn Park the next time they take the court. Surrattsville will host Gwynn Park at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Douglass will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 18th.
