Holmes is 9-1 against Marshall since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Holmes Huskies will head out to face off against the Marshall Rams at 10:00 a.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Holmes came up short against O'Connor and fell 55-47. While the Huskies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 17-12 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 70-44 to O'Connor. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-19.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Holmes, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

Holmes came up short against Marshall in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, falling 43-39. Can Holmes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
