Soccer Game Preview: Aquinas vs. Westminster Schools of Augusta

The Aquinas Fightin' Irish will face off against the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Aquinas' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Howard 5-0. The result was nothing new for the Fightin' Irish, who have now won four games by five goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Westminster Schools of Augusta earned a 3-1 win over Lake Oconee Academy on Friday.

Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Aquinas suffered a grim 9-3 defeat to Westminster Schools of Augusta when the teams last played back in March of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Aquinas was down 6-1.
