Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Cold Springs won by a run and slipped past Vinemont 7-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-7 two weeks ago.

Cold Springs has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Vinemont, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.

Cold Springs has already played their next game, a 17-2 loss against Good Hope on the 1st. As for Vinemont, they will square off against Holly Pond at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
