Soccer Recap: Windsor Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Windsor had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Coronado Cougars get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Saturday. Considering Windsor have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Coronado from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Tatum Gentry led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory was the ninth in a row for Windsor, bringing their record up to 14-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those nine contests. As for Coronado, they moved to 12-2-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Windsor has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Mead on the 13th. Coronado does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
