Football Game Preview: Blytheville Chickasaws vs. Highland Rebels + Official Tickets

The Blytheville Chickasaws will square off against the Highland Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Blytheville's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Westside as they made off with a 26-0 victory. That looming 26-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Chickasaws yet this season.

Courtney Rogers produced another solid performance rushing for 185 yards on only ten carries. Rogers is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 129 every time he's taken the field this season.

Blytheville's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. In that department, Trevon Lewis was the leader with three sacks.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Highland). They claimed a resounding 60-14 win over Trumann. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-8.

Highland found their leader in sophomore Jaxon Tribble, who rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown.

Blytheville's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Highland, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
