Baseball Recap: Suffern Takes a Loss

Suffern had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 0-6 to make it six. They fell just short of the Clarkstown North Rams by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Monday.

As for Clarkstown North, the win got them back to even at 8-8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since April 23, 2025.

For Clarkstown North's part, their win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Marco Reda, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases. Jack Kavanagh was another, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Suffern will challenge Albertus Magnus at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Clarkstown North, they will square off against Pearl River at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
