Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Pee Dee Academy's Fifth in Last Six Outings

If Dillon Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Pee Dee Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Rebecca Hammond. The Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles were the clear victor by a 52-30 margin over the Dillon Christian Warriors on Friday thanks in part to Hammond, who went 9 for 22 on her way to 26 points and three steals. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Pee Dee Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Dillon Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
