Football Recap: Linden Takes a Loss

Linden was the 17-0 winner over Sayreville when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers lost to the Bombers on the road by a 28-14 margin on Friday.

Leading Sayreville to victory were Dion Osae and Andrew Provenza. Osae rushed for 54 yards and one score, while Provenza picked up 53 receiving yards and one TD. Osae was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.

Linden's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sayreville, their record now sits at 2-0.

Linden didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 35-18 loss against Colonia on the 12th. As for Sayreville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 46-14 victory against Edison on the 12th.
