Brian Williams Delivers Best Effort of Season

Surry Central was led to victory by Brian Williams, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Williams picked up 169 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Unfortunately for Forbush, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Williams. Williams rushed for 64 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards the last time he and the Falcons duked it out back in October of 2023.
