Baseball Recap: Crestview Takes a Loss

Crestview was the 2-1 winner over Northmor when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell just short of the Golden Knights by a score of 8-7 on Saturday.

Crestview saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Fulk, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Fulk is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Tyson Ringler was another, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Crestview has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Northmor, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Crestview will challenge Mapleton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northmor, they have already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Loudonville on the 28th.
