Basketball Game Preview: Granite City Warriors vs. Triad Knights

Granite City is 1-9 against Triad since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Granite City Warriors will host the Triad Knights at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Granite City is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since February 5, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Beardstown by a score of 31-29.

Meanwhile, Triad entered their game against Civic Memorial on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Triad lost 54-31 to Civic Memorial.

Granite City's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Triad, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-6.
