Apex Friendship and Apex are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Patriots will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Apex will be up against a hot Apex Friendship squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Patriots' way against Green Hope on Wednesday as they made off with a 4-1 win. Paige Frasz was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Apex kept a clean sheet against Panther Creek on Wednesday. They blew past the Catamounts 5-0. Apex haven't had any issues with Panther Creek recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Apex's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three contests. As for Apex Friendship, their win bumped their record up to 12-5-1.

Apex Friendship was able to grind out a solid victory over Apex in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-0. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
