Baseball Recap: Tatnall Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Tatnall was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Sanford Warriors, falling 8-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Hornets haven't been shut out since back in April.

Tatnall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Sanford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tatnall will host Delcastle Technical at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.57 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Sanford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Archmere Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
