Soccer Recap: Berkeley Springs Takes a Loss

Berkeley Springs lost against Bishop Walsh back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians lost 7-2 to the Spartans. Berkeley Springs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Jacob Morgan and Kyle Bland scored both of Berkeley Springs' goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Berkeley Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bishop Walsh, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5-1 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berkeley Springs will challenge Musselman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Walsh, they will venture away from home to face off against Grace Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
