Volleyball Recap: Knox Comes Up Short

Knox and Jimtown squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Knox had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jimmies. The loss continues a trend for the Redskins in their meetings with the Jimmies: they've now lost five in a row.

Rylan Jordan paced Knox's offense, picking up 12 kills. Jordan got some help from Autumn Nowatzke and her 14 assists. Marley Tessner controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Knox's defeat dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Jimtown, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 12-18.

Knox does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jimtown, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against South Bend Career Academy on the 18th.
