Volleyball Recap: Brewster Takes a Loss

Brewster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ardsley Panthers. While the Bears didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-20 in the first set.

Brewster started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-21.

Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Ardsley, they pushed their record up to 10-2-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Brewster is taking a road trip to face off against Haldane at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ardsley, they will square off against Somers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
