The Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the North Royalton Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Stow-Munroe Falls posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They really took it to Roosevelt for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-32 victory on the road. Given Stow-Munroe Falls' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Roosevelt is ranked 278th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, North Royalton put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Mayfield 69-34 at home.
Stow-Munroe Falls is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for North Royalton, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
Stow-Munroe Falls came up short against North Royalton in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 49-38. Can Stow-Munroe Falls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
