Soccer Recap: Port Chester Comes Up Short

Port Chester managed to keep up with Rye until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rams came up short against the Garnets, falling 4-0. Port Chester were not able to make up for their defeat to Rye from their previous meeting back in October of 2015.

Port Chester's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Rye, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1-1.

Coming up, Port Chester will head out to challenge Mamaroneck at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rye, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Keio Academy of N.Y. at 5:00 p.m.
