Soccer Recap: Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley Comes Up Short

Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Harris-Lake Park Wolves. While losing is never fun, Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Harris-Lake Park are ranked 59th).

Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Harris-Lake Park, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Spirit Lake on the 12th. Hopefully Harris-Lake Park paid attention to the NIGHTHAWKS' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the NIGHTHAWKS at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
