Soccer Recap: Deforest's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Fort Atkinson on Tuesday, DeForest came back down to earth. The Norskies took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sauk Prairie Eagles on Friday. DeForest were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three games prior), but Sauk Prairie's defense proved too tough.

DeForest's goal came courtesy of Anya Carrillo, who's now up to six this season.

DeForest's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for Sauk Prairie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-2.

Coming up, DeForest will be playing in front of their home fans against Oregon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oregon will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something DeForest surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sauk Prairie, they will head out to face off against Edgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
