Cromwell typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Proctor proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 54-42 victory over the Cromwell Cardinals. The win continues a trend for the Rails in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won five in a row.

Despite the defeat, Cromwell saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Shannon Lund went 5-for-9 to rack up 13 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Lund is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isabella Anderson, who posted six points and nine rebounds.

Proctor's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-3. As for Cromwell, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 21-4.

Proctor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-45 win against Cambridge-Isanti on the 22nd. Cromwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
