Volleyball Recap: Hozho Academy's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It was a good run, but Hozho Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Rehoboth Christian Lynx. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lynx when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hozho Academy's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-7. As for Rehoboth Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hozho Academy will square off against Reserve at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rehoboth Christian, they will face off against Ramah at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
