Basketball Recap: Sandy Spring Friends Comes Up Short

Sandy Spring Friends lost against Hebrew Academy back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests came up short against Hebrew Academy, falling 60-40. The Wildebeests have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sandy Spring Friends' defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Hebrew Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandy Spring Friends will challenge Model Secondary School for the Deaf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hebrew Academy has already played their next match (against Takoma Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
