Beyer proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Johansen Vikings 8-7. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Jacob Towe, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Reynaga, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Beyer was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Johansen only posted a batting average of .182.

Beyer's victory bumped their record up to 14-8-1. As for Johansen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Beyer beat the Vikings by a score of 15-5 on Thursday.
