Marshfield and New Covenant Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bluejays will be playing at home against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marshfield is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, New Covenant Academy hadn't done well against Monett recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Cubs 2-1. The game was the first time New Covenant Academy have beaten Monett on their pitch since April 4, 2017.

New Covenant Academy's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-6. As for Marshfield, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.

Marshfield came up short against New Covenant Academy in their previous matchup back in April, falling 4-2. Can the Bluejays avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
