North Star has gone 9-1 against Meyersdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cougars will take on the Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m.

North Star lost 3-0 to Berlin Brothersvalley on Thursday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 28-26, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Meyersdale entered their tilt with McConnellsburg on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans.

Meyersdale was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-20.

North Star's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Meyersdale, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.

North Star might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Meyersdale when the teams last played back in September. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
