Basketball Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Murray

Murray had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.1 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 72-58 victory over the Stansbury Stallions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-64 back in January.

Murray was led to victory by Kaiden Nelson and Isaiah Beh. Nelson went 9 for 12 on his way to 21 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds, while Beh went 9 of 14 en route to 20 points and eight assists. With that strong performance, Nelson is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Treyce Wilson, who posted ten points and four steals.

Murray pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Stansbury, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 5-15 record this season.
