Football Recap: Adamsville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Adamsville and East Nashville Magnet squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Adamsville had to settle for second. They lost 41-18 to the Eagles. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Cardinals struggled afterwards.

Although Adamsville took the loss, they still got scores from Jc Gray and Isaac Howard.

East Nashville Magnet's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kinnie Fuller, Jr, who rushed for 170 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. Fuller, Jr has become a key player for the Eagles: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 2-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallas Covington, who threw for 195 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.

The loss snapped Adamsville's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4 record. As for East Nashville Magnet, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Adamsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Nashville Magnet, they will square off against Fairley at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
