Volleyball Recap: Fort Frye Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fort Frye was the 3-2 winner over Monroe Central when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Cadets fell just short of the Seminoles by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Fort Frye wouldn't go down easily and took Monroe Central into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 22-25, 24-26, 15-13.

Fort Frye's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Monroe Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Fort Frye didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Point Pleasant on the 23rd. As for Monroe Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Magnolia on the 23rd.
