Volleyball Recap: Oak Ridge Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Oak Ridge entered their tilt with Whitney on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Trojans not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 17th.

Oak Ridge never let Whitney on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-19.

Jamie Fraser paced Oak Ridge's offense, picking up 11 kills. Fraser got some help from Jack Reynolds and his 28 assists. Travis Vandeluyster and Sam Renaud kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Oak Ridge's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-1. As for Whitney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-18.

Oak Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Del Oro on the 2nd. As for Whitney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Davis Sr. on the 2nd.
