Football Recap: First Flight Nighthawks vs. Currituck County Knights
First Flight was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 52-20 loss at the hands of the Currituck County Knights. The Nighthawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-6.
Currituck County found their leader in freshman Easten Binckley, who rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Binckley really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
First Flight's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Currituck County, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
As of now, neither First Flight nor Currituck County have any future games scheduled.
