Plateau Valley extended their winning streak to 17 games thanks to a huge performance from Jack Vig. The Plateau Valley Cowboys enjoyed a cozy 61-46 victory over the De Beque Dragons on Tuesday thanks to Vig, who dropped a double-double with 34 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Jackson Bevan was another key player, putting up eight points and seven boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 54% in the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, De Beque still got an impressive performance from Burke Largent, who had 27 points. That was a full 58.7% of De Beque's points, marking the fourth time in a row Largent has scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jace Graham, who put up six points and 15 rebounds.

Plateau Valley pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for De Beque, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Coming up, Plateau Valley will square off against Nucla at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Nucla is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.6 points per game this season. As for De Beque, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-35 victory against Vail Christian on the 20th.
