Schenectady extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping their season record down to 0-6 in the process. They came up short against the Lansingburgh Knights, falling 21-6. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Patriots' highest-scoring game to date.

Oliver Verett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. Mitch Petersen was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

As for Lansingburgh, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

On Lansingburgh's side, they got a massive performance out of Dan Pondillo, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Braedan Kepner, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

While Schenectady had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
