Baseball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Cadillac's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alpena, Cadillac was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Beaverton Beavers. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cadillac has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.1 runs over those games. As for Beaverton, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 13-6 record.

Coming up, Cadillac will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Beal City at 4:30 p.m. Beaverton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
