With a playoff win on the line, Crawford rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They strolled past the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets with points to spare, taking the game 74-57. The victory was familiar territory for the Colts, who have now won eight matches in a row.

Trevon Blanks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last seven times he's played. Mickelson Laguerre was another key player, going 6-for-11 on his way to 12 points and three steals.

Crawford smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palo Verde Valley only pulled down nine offensive rebounds.

Zaraivion Crowe and Daymien Jauregui certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Crowe dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten boards, while Jauregui posted 20 points and three steals. That was a full 38.6% of Palo Verde Valley's points, marking the fourth time in a row Crowe has had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Yasias Green, who put up three points.

Crawford pushed their record up to 25-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points over those games. As for Palo Verde Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-17.

Looking ahead, Crawford will take on Granite Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crawford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Granite Hills likes a good challenge. Palo Verde Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
