Volleyball Recap: Affton Has No Trouble Against Ritenour

Affton's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ritenour Huskies. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won five in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Affton was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-14.

Nathan Meyers had an outrageously good game as he had 21 digs and four assists. That's the most assists he has posted over his last seven games. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Kruse, who had five digs and three aces.

Affton's victory bumped their record up to 7-16-1. As for Ritenour, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-1 record this season.
