Softball Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

West Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cleveland Panthers.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 12-19. As for Cleveland, their record is now 14-21.

Coming up, West Point will be playing at home against Cullman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cleveland has already played their next match (against Spring Garden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
