Basketball Recap: Scappoose Comes Up Short

Scappoose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a hard 44-29 fall against the St. Helens Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 42-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Scappoose's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for St. Helens, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Scappoose will take on Tillamook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Helens, they will challenge Seaside at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
