Volleyball Game Preview: St. John Bosco Braves vs. Mira Costa Mustangs

The St. John Bosco Braves will be taking part in a tournament against the Mira Costa Mustangs at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

St. John Bosco can't be too worried about heading out to take on Mira Costa: they just beat Camarillo at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Braves put the hurt on the Scorpions with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

While St. John Bosco won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Mira Costa entered their tilt with Los Alamitos on Friday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Griffins.

Mira Costa's victory bumped their record up to 27-1. As for St. John Bosco, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.
