Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Fraser

Fraser entered their tilt with Lake Shore on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Shorians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 back in May.

Gabrielle Gajewski was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Gajewski was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other pitching news, Camilla Dawood looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits.

Back at the plate, Jazlyn Wooten was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May.

Fraser's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-10. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Shore, they moved to 13-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Fraser will head out to square off against Royal Oak at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Shore, they will face off against Marysville on Saturday.
