Basketball Game Preview: East Paulding Raiders vs. Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs

East Paulding is 3-0 against Kennesaw Mountain since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The East Paulding Raiders will look to defend their home court against the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

East Paulding will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Lithia Springs, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. East Paulding slipped by Lithia Springs 60-59 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Meanwhile, Kennesaw Mountain ended up a good deal behind Alexander on Tuesday and lost 74-56. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Cougars are ranked 27th).

East Paulding's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12. As for Kennesaw Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Everything came up roses for East Paulding against Kennesaw Mountain when the teams last played back in December of 2021, as the team secured a 70-43 victory.
