Perryville extended the longest winning streak in Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna this week by beating Harford Tech, 42-18. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Panthers.
Perryville's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Elijah Johnson threw for 97 and one touchdown and Ethan Griffen had 50 yards receiving. On the ground Joe Peaker chipped in 112 yards. Tyrell Hollingsworth helped Perryville's passing attack out by catching one ball for 27 yards.
Perryville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Johnson has thrown for 1034 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Brian Matthews has 22 catches for 499 yards. Peaker leads the league in rushing with 1367 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Chris Johnson's team takes on Bohemia Manor. The Panthers are currently in first, while the Eagles are in fifth.
Perryville led Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Cobras. Johnson ran for 10 yards in the win.
