            Football Recap: Lapel Bulldogs vs. Winchester Community Golden Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lapel had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They blew past the Winchester Community Golden Falcons 32-0. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six games by 28  points or more  so far this season.
 Devin Craig was  his usual excellent self, throwing for 302 yards and four  TDs while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt. That's the most  passing yards  he has posted since back in October of 2024.
 Lapel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Deacon Spitz and  Jayden Lindsey. Lindsey is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made five or more in each of the last four games he's  played.

The  win keeps Lapel at an undefeated 10-0. The  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 34.2 points this season. As for Winchester Community, they moved to 8-2 with that  defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
 Coming up, Lapel will head out to  face off against Eastern Hancock  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 923 yards in their previous games. Winchester Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
