Baseball Recap: Richmond Takes a Loss

Richmond saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Southern Nash Firebirds by a score of 4-3. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evan Hodges was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Southern Nash, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Richmond wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against North Brunswick on the 23rd. As for Southern Nash, they have also already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against South Stanly on the 23rd.
