Playoffs: Level 2 games to watch 3-seed Oshkosh North (9-1) at New Richmond (8-2)6 p.m.
Junior
Austyn Wittek rushed for 258 yards on 19 carries with five touchdowns in New Richmond's 49-14 win over Ashwaubenon in a Division 2 Level 1 contest. Wittek has run for 1,674 yards and 27 touchdowns on the season. Oshkosh North defeated Marshfield 28-7 in the opening round of the playoffs. The Spartans' lone loss this season was against undefeated Notre Dame (34-14). Senior quarterback
Bryce Ott has thrown for 1,644 yards and 22 touchdowns, and rushed for 220 yards and three more scores. His top target is senior
Dalton Clark, who has 40 catches for 794 yards and 10 touchdowns.
3-seed Middleton (9-1) at 2-seed Badger (Lake Geneva) (10-0)7 p.m.Both squads are coming off blowout wins in Level 1 of the Division 1 playoffs: Middleton 63-8 over Milwaukee Hamilton/Audubon and Badger 42-7 over Oak Creek. Badger has scored over 40 points in eight games and has held opponents to 10 or fewer points in six games. Senior quarterback
Matthew Ogrady has 134 carries for 1,622 yards and 24 touchdowns, and has five passing scores. Middleton has three games of more than 50 points this season and has held seven opponents to under 10 points. The Cardinals' only loss this season was against defending D1 state champion Bay Port (39-36), the first week of the season. Senior quarterback
Joey Passaglia completes over 70 percent of his passes for 2,044 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also has 73 carries for 404 yards and five more scores. The leaders at wide receiver are seniors
Chase Rogers (734 yards, 11 touchdowns) and
Jackson Guerrero (520 yards, 5 touchdowns), each of whom has over 50 catches on the year.
3-seed Kimberly (8-2) at 2-seed Hamilton (Sussex) (8-2)7 p.m. - Tickets via GoFanThe teams met in the first week of the season, with Hamilton defeating Kimberly 42-21. Hamilton is coming off a 58-32 win over Marquette University in the opening round of the D1 playoffs. Junior quarterback
Cole Erdmann went 20-for-29 passing for 308 yards and had 16 carries for 112 yards and six touchdowns. For the season, Erdmann has 1,324 yards passing with four touchdowns and has 470 yards rushing with a team-best 18 scores. Kimberly topped Fond du Lac 28-21 last week. Senior
Kegan Pleau and junior
Maddux Hermus headline the Papermakers' offense. Pleau has 683 yards rushing with seven touchdowns, and Hermus has 618 yards rushing with nine scores. Maddux also has 13 catches for 221 yards and two touchdowns.
4-seed Mukwonago (7-3) at 1-seed Waunakee (10-0) 7 p.m. - Tickets via GoFanWaunakee topped Waunakee 28-21 in overtime last week in a Division 1 Level 1 game. The Warriors' offense is headlined by seniors
Cole Krause (QB) and
Colin Murphy (RB). Krause is completing 73 percent of his passes for 967 yards and 15 touchdowns, and Murphy has 682 yards rushing with 11 scores. Mukwonago shut out Oconomowoc 24-0 last week. Junior quarterback
George Molitor has thrown for 1,542 yards and 16 touchdowns, with junior
Max Baehman hauling in a team-best seven touchdown catches. The Indians' top rusher is senior
Colton Lynch, who has 1,073 yards with 12 scores. Defensively, senior linebacker Noah Dodds has a team-high 120 tackles (61 solo), 15 for a loss, with 2.5 sacks.
4-seed Slinger (8-2) at 1-seed Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay) (10-0)7 p.m. - Tickets via GoFanA matchup of defending state champions. Notre Dame, last year's D3 state champion, moved up to Division 2 this season after meeting the threshold for elevation in the WIAA Competitive Balance and Tournament Performance Factor. Kingston Allen finished with the third-most rushing yards in a game in Wisconsin state history, running for 477 yards on 21 carries and scoring eight touchdowns. Allen has compiled 2,172 yards rushing with 38 touchdowns. Junior
Richie Flanigan, a Notre Dame commit, is key on both sides of the line for the Tritons. He has 28 tackles and leads the team with four sacks. Slinger cruised to a 42-14 win over West Bend West last week, with senior running back
Kobe Hendricks tallying 193 yards on 25 carries and finding the endzone three times. Hendricks has rushed the ball 205 times for 1,757 yards and 23 touchdowns, and has three receiving scores.
3-seed Germantown (7-3) at 2-seed Monona Grove (Monona) (9-1)7 p.m. Monona Grove cruised to a 39-8 win over Brookfield Central in a Division 2 Level 1 contest, while Germantown rolled past Wauwatosa West 36-6. Sophomore quarterback
Jaxon Zukowski has 1,397 yards passing with 14 touchdowns, and 288 rushing yards with five more scores for Monona Grove. Leading the rushing attack for the Silver Eagles is junior Makai Fowler, who has 117 carries for 710 yards and eight touchdowns. Senior lineman
Nick Gallagher has 20 tackles for a loss, including 11 sacks for MG. Germantown's offense is headlined by senior quarterback
Vincent Inga, who has 1,703 yards passing with 22 touchdowns, and has a team-best 729 yards rushing with 11 more scores. Defensively, senior linebacker
Jon Murkowski has a team-high 92 tackles, including 15 for a loss.
4-seed Reedsburg (7-3) at 1-seed Edgewood (Madison) (9-1)7 p.m. This one will likely see a heavy dose of the ground game, as the teams combined to throw just 11 passes in Division 3 Level 1 games. In Edgewood's 35-7 win over Rhinelander, senior quarterback
Gannon Bagstad went 8-for-10 for 77 yards and two touchdowns, and ran the ball 20 times for 151 yards and two more scores. Bagstad has thrown for 1,410 yards with 21 touchdowns, and leads the team's running game with 692 yards and 10 scores. Reedsburg is coming off a 49-24 victory over Waterford. Senior two-way player
Will Mikonowicz finished with the second-most rushing yards in a game in Wisconsin state history when he accumulated 498 yards on 30 carries with seven touchdowns. Defensively, he tallied a team-best 10 tackles and picked off a pass at his safety spot. Mikonowicz has rushed for 1,748 yards and 28 touchdowns and leads the defense with 64 tackles, four interceptions with a pick six, and three punt returns for scores.
3-seed Evansville (9-1) at 2-seed Mosinee (8-2) 7 p.m. Both squads cruised in their Division 4 Level 1 contests: Mosinee 41-7 over Turner, and Evansville shut out Shoreland Lutheran 40-0. Senior two-way player
Treve Stoffel headlines the offense with 35 total touchdowns. At quarterback, he completes 68 percent of his passes for 1,618 yards and 20 touchdowns, and has a team-best 921 rushing yards and 15 more scores. Defensively, he leads the team with 87 tackles and four interceptions. For Evansville, junior quarterback
Matthew Wickersham has thrown for 1,191 yards and 12 touchdowns, and has 181 yards rushing with five more scores. Senior
Lincoln Kellerr is the Blue Devils leading rusher, tallying 1,266 yards and 18 touchdowns.
4-seed Winnebago Lutheran Academy (Fond du Lac) (7-3) at 1-seed Mayville (10-0)7 p.m. A rematch from earlier this season when Mayville topped Winnebago Lutheran 14-7 in a Flyway Conference contest. In Division 5 WIAA Level 1 action, Mayville shut out Chilton 41-0, and Winnebago Lutheran earned a 42-26 victory over Arcadia. Senior
Landen Baker leads Mayville's rushing attack with 1,263 yards and 18 touchdowns, while junior
Joe Promersberger is second with 569 yards and 11 scores. Winnebago Lutheran's offense is led by senior

3-seed Coleman (8-2) at 2-seed Roncalli (Manitowoc) (8-2)7 p.m. In Division 7 Level 1 contests, Coleman (44-6 over Randolph) and Roncalli (40-8 over Royall) routed their competition. Senior quarterback
Dominic Thiele has passed for 1,466 yards and 15 touchdowns, and added 252 on the ground with four more scores for Roncalli. The Jets' running game is led by senior
Sawyer Vandrisse, who has 1,229 yards and 18 touchdowns. Junior running back
Kolton Peters headlines Coleman. He has 117 carries for 1,182 yards and 16 touchdowns, and a team-best 14 receptions for 308 yards and four more scores. Peters is also a standout on defense with 41 tackles and seven interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.
