Stratton had won 11 straight games and Von Isenbart did his part to make it 12 on Friday. The Stratton Eagles strolled past the Limon Badgers with points to spare, taking the game 59-42 for which the team can thank Isenbart, who shot 4-for-6 from deep and dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten boards. The match was his fifth in a row with at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Judson Isenbart, who posted four points along with six assists and three steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Limon lost, don't look at Drey Tacha. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-17 on his way to 17 points and six steals. Tacha has become a key player for Limon: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least five steals, but 6-9 otherwise. Brody Scherrer was another key player, putting up eight points.

Stratton pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Limon, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
