Cheraw has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Andrew Jackson Volunteers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with 23 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Cheraw finally turned things around against Marlboro County on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Londyn Driggers and Nia Johnson were among the main playmakers for Cheraw as the former had 12 digs and the latter had eight digs and two aces. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: Driggers now had ten or more in the last four games she's played.

Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson made easy work of Central on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-12.

Cheraw's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Andrew Jackson, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
